Subject: Help with Packet on a Mac
To: ham-digital@ucsd.edu
I recently (one month ago) passed the 5 written exams and 5 WPM code and am
patiently waiting for the FCC. I guess I will have to wait about 2 more
months or so. In the mean time I feel that I am ready to pass 13 WPM and
would like to get my shack setup for Packet using a Macintosh computer
(Quadra 700 &/or PowerMac 8100).
I would appreciate hearing from anyone out there using Packet on a
Macintosh and get recommendations for a TNC to use with the Mac and for
communication software or other nice software that would be of use to me in
getting setup so I can monitor while I wait for the FCC. Any and all help
would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks and 73,
Richard Harris
